Sightseeing Run - Tübingen

There's something magical about running through a town steeped in history, where every cobblestone has a story to tell. Some months ago, I laced up my running shoes and ran through the charming streets of Tübingen, Germany - the place that I call home. The weather was on my side, with the sun casting a warm glow and the temperature feeling like a perfect 22.2°C.

The Route:

My 10+ km route started at Europaplatz, leading me across the Neckarbrücke and up the Mühlstraße. Running along Wilhelmstraße and circling the Österberg. The Neckarinsel and the tunnel into the old town provided a scenic transition, offering views that seamlessly blended nature and history.

As my feet pounded the pavement in the old town, I passed by iconic landmarks like the City Hall, the formidable Hohentübingen Castle, and the so familiar Stiftskirche. Each step felt like a journey through my history here.

Metrics:

Distance: 10.45 km
Time: 1:13:07
Average Pace: 7:00/km
Sunny Weather at 22°C with a gently breeze.
